Pattani: In an enriching cultural exchange initiative, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Pattani Campus, played host to faculty members and students from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Led by Asst. Prof. Saranlita Chotirat, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Digital Ecosystem and Quality System, and Mr. Suradet Thongbunchu, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Corporate Communication, the visit unfolded as part of the PSU - UM Short Mobility Program.

On the program's inaugural day, PSU extended a warm welcome to the University of Malaya delegation. The day featured interactions among faculty members and students, setting the stage for knowledge exchange at Lan La Mae Samilae, Pattani Campus.

Sunday, November 26, 2023: Exploration and Learning
The second day saw the PSU - UM delegation exploring Pattani's cultural and historical landmarks. Faculty members and students from the University of Malaya participated in various activities, fostering cultural understanding and camaraderie.

Monday, November 27, 2023: Immersive Thai Experience
The final day commenced with practical activities focusing on "Thai Food and Culture." Students engaged in hands-on experiences such as creating traditional Thai desserts, preparing "Som Tum" (Papaya Salad), crafting "Krathong" for the upcoming Loy Krathong Festival, and learning traditional Thai dance moves.
